Amanda has had a varied career – from managing a Backpackers Hostel in Dublin, to setting up a local artisan market in the Heatons area of Stockport, and as co-founder of Post Newspapers.
Amanda attributes this variety to a liking for new challenges – the main motivation behind her return to The University of Manchester as a ‘mature’ student to complete a Masters Degree in History while her daughter was at Primary School.
Amanda’s main passion is travel. Having backpacked and lived across the globe following her undergraduate degree, she now enjoys adventuring and exploring new places with her daughter (with laptop in tow…) – and being Editor of the Post Newspapers of course!
