Contact Hostel are taking part in the Big Give’s Small Charity Week Campaign this June, aiming to raise £10,000 in just one week! These donations will be used to fund vital services, supporting teenage girls facing homelessness in Manchester.
Donations to Contact Hostel will be generously matched by Big Give’s Champions during the campaign to make double the difference in supporting girls in need.
Victoria Thomas, Fundraising Lead at Contact said “This year, our goal is to raise a total of £10,000. To unlock the £5,000 available in our matching pot, we must first raise £5,000 through online donations. Every pound you give brings us closer to that target – and gets doubled! Your support will help Contact Hostel continue providing safety, stability and support to young women facing homelessness.”
Contact Hostel has been providing a safe haven for girls in Manchester since 1970. In a city grappling with some of the highest rates of homelessness in the UK, the charity’s work remains as essential as ever.
How can you get involved?
• Visit BigGive.org and make a donation from 22 – 29 June. The campaign will close at midnight on 29 June
