Chris enjoys doing crossword puzzles in his free time, but is quite probably addicted to setting them – mostly for the Post newspapers, but also for the Royal Enfield motorcycle magazine and various other publications.

He has a border terrier dog called Duggie and is sometimes motivated to make odd inventions. His very patient partner Sheila, an author, says he should’ve been called Heath, not Chris.
